Program Highlights
This 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training gives you the chance to discover new dimensions of yoga and bring fresh insights into your teaching. By the end of the course, you will have grown meaningfully as both a teacher and a student, ready to share your expanded knowledge with confidence.
Yogic Sukshma Vyayama
Sukshma Vyayama is an ancient practice introduced by Sri Dhirendra Bhramchari. It uses yogic postures and dynamic movements to activate the subtle pranic body and rejuvenate the joints.
While many teachers focus mainly on asana practice, these smaller exercises play an important role in building strength, flexibility, and consciousness.
You will learn the complete sequence of 48 yogic exercises to develop awareness in every cell of the body.
Patanjali Yoga Sutras
The word sutra means “thread,” and these 196 short sutras present the full science of yoga in a clear and concise form: its purpose, essential practices, possible obstacles, methods of removal, and the results that can be achieved.
We cover all four chapters of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras — Samadhi Pada, Sadhana Pada, Vibhuti Pada, and Kaivalya Pada — to help you understand the teachings and their relevance in modern daily life.
Bhagavad Gita
Known as “the song of god,” this sacred text is a conversation between Arjuna and Lord Krishna, in which Arjuna seeks guidance during a moral dilemma.
In class, you will explore all 18 chapters in detail, along with the three secrets of the Bhagavad Gita. You will also learn how to apply this wisdom in everyday life, especially during difficult or overstimulating times, so you can maintain mental equanimity regardless of external circumstances.
Hatha Yoga Scriptures
In the Indian tradition, Hatha Yoga is far more than asana. It includes ethics, diet, cleansing, pranayama, meditation, and a complete system for spiritual development.
We will study the scriptures that form the basis of many yoga styles practiced today, with a special focus on the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Gheranda Samhita.
Ashtanga Vinyasa
Ashtanga Vinyasa is a vital part of the Hatha Yoga system and follows six fixed series in a set order. In this training, the focus is on the Primary Series, along with the art of teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa.
Arm Balancing
In the second part of the training, you will break down a range of arm balancing postures. The curriculum includes preparation and injury prevention, warm-up and strengthening exercises, technique, alignment, verbal and physical adjustments, and building the arm strength needed to support these postures safely and effectively.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of life, offers valuable wisdom for living a healthy and balanced life. You will gain a deeper understanding of the five elements, the three doshas, and the role of ayurveda in maintaining health and preventing disease through balance of body, mind, soul, and environment.
Chakras
Chakras are energy centers in the body, connecting the physical and astral body. Through chakra meditation, chanting of beeja mantras, and chakra-specific asanas, you will learn how to activate, purify, and support the seven chakras.
Pranayama
A daily pranayama practice will introduce you to a variety of techniques and their effects, including the concept of kumbhaka, or breath retention. You will also study pranayama methods from the Hatha Yoga scriptures.
Yogic Anatomy and Anatomy & Physiology
Learn about the subtle yogic anatomy system, including the five elements, nadis, prana, pancha kosha, bandhas, and kundalini, as well as the nervous, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems, plus hip, spine, core, arm, and shoulder anatomy.
Shatkarma, Mudra, and Mantra Chanting
You will study traditional cleansing practices, mudras, and mantra chanting as part of a complete yogic education. Some cleansing techniques, including Jal Neti, Sutra Neti, Nauli, Kapalbhati, and Trataka, will be practiced together.
Yoga Sequencing Foundation
Learn how to sequence Yogic Sukshma Vyayama, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Arm Balancing classes with clarity and intention.
Time Schedule
The schedule is not fixed and may change depending on location, teacher availability, weather conditions, and the general situation.
