Soul is movement in constant transformation — a living play of sensation and feeling. It is the way timeless presence meets the finite human body and moves through it. In this workshop, we will return to the body in motion as a doorway into the life unfolding just beneath the surface of everyday forgetting.
As a formless dance practice, Soul Motion® makes room for both passionate, expansive movement and inward exploration, along with art-making, ritual, and spacious lounging. Through conscious movement, body-based inquiry drawn from Gestalt Practice, and the stillness of nature, we will work with a process that can transform body, heart, and spirit.
Soul Motion is an encounter between self and other, expressed through a dance that is deeply creative, nourishing, and transformative. It moves toward the dynamic stillness at the center of all things — the resting place at the heart of sound and motion.
Over the course of the week, we will:
This workshop is open to anyone willing to move, pause, listen, and truly relax into a timeless moment. It is especially supportive for people in the healing professions who work with clients, patients, and students.
