Description

Zen Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork practice rooted in the five element theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Known for its gentle approach, it invites the body into a profound state of relaxation, allowing its natural healing capacity to come forward. Using thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows, feet, and knees, pressure is applied along the meridian pathways while remaining attentive to the body’s response throughout the treatment.

This form of Shiatsu supports a deeper sense of presence and mindfulness, encouraging awareness of the healing process as it unfolds. By working with the meridians, Zen Shiatsu helps restore harmony and supports the free flow of energy through the body.

It may be beneficial for a wide range of concerns, from specific injuries to more general signs of imbalance or low vitality. The experience is deeply calming, and regular sessions can help prevent stress from accumulating in everyday life while supporting a more natural flow of qi and alignment with the Dao.
