Set around two hours from London, Florence House sits at the brow of Seaford Head in East Sussex. It offers a peaceful setting for a retreat, surrounded by the wildness of nature and lovely gardens.
The property extends across 6 acres in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the edge of the South Downs National Park, with views of Seaford Head and Seaford Head Golf Course. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away.
Accommodation includes single, double, and twin rooms, each with its own distinct theme. Rooms look out over the sea, the hills of the South Downs, or the private gardens.
Florence House is well known for its delicious, creative home cooking prepared by its own chefs. Wherever possible, ingredients are locally sourced or taken from the kitchen garden. Meals are organic and vegetarian.

Jo Winterton will guide Hatha yoga sessions designed to support strength, flexibility, calm, rest, and balance. These mindful classes include asana, pranayama, meditation, and guided relaxation.
Throughout the weekend, you will also be held by two deeply nurturing gong sessions, each created with a different intention to help you settle into profound relaxation.
Arriving on your own but hoping to share? You can be paired with another guest.
You may also book a treatment during your retreat, with options including Thai yoga massage or Reiki.
