Take a meaningful step into Zen through the lens of the Ten Directions in this one-day, in-person workshop at Heart of Wisdom Zen Temple. Designed for beginners as well as those wishing to deepen an existing practice, this gathering offers a grounded introduction to timeless Zen methods that continue to resonate in modern life.

Throughout the day, participants will explore a range of practices that support presence, steadiness, and insight, including:

Meditation and stable sitting
Mindfulness beyond the cushion
Chanting
Mindful eating
Work practice
Stillness
Walking meditation
Koans
Tradition and ritual
Dharma teachings

This workshop is typically in high demand and often develops a waitlist, so if you are unable to attend, please let the organizers know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone else. A suggested donation includes a vegetarian/vegan lunch, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
