Why travel far when Vienna shows its best side in summer? The Yogafusion Studio in the 9th district is located in a basement space that usually stays pleasantly cool, even during the warmer months. Spend a weekend in the air without ever boarding a plane at Vienna’s first Aerial Yoga retreat.

Over this weekend, you’ll experience the full range of Aerial Yoga: from static and dynamic exercises to dance-inspired flow, from Acro to Thai Yoga, and from Yin and meditation in the hammock, there is something for every preference. If you have long wanted to use your own Aerial Yoga hammock at home, the Technique & Rigging workshop in the retreat will give you all the essential foundations.

Outside the Aerial Yoga classes, you can enjoy summer in Vienna with the other participants, or simply take some time to yourself and relax with a good book by the water or in the park. Until the next bookable date is set, you can already get a taste of the program example below:

Aerial Yoga retreat in Vienna

The next “Fly & Stay” Aerial Yoga retreat is expected to take place on a weekend in July 2027, from Friday to Sunday, at Yogafusion Studio in Vienna. As soon as the date is confirmed, everyone on the waiting list will be the first to know.

We practice a wide variety of yoga styles in and with the Aerial Yoga hammock: Hatha, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Dance Yoga (Inside Flow), Acro, and Thai Yoga.

The retreat includes six sessions of yoga, technique/theory, and meditation, and in 2026 it cost 222 euros per person. The price for 2027 will be set once the date is confirmed.

If needed, I’ll be happy to share accommodation tips for your stay in Vienna.

The maximum number of participants is twelve, and the minimum number is six yoginis.

Participation is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners.

At the Aerial Yoga retreat, you can expect a colorful mix of different yoga styles in and with the hammock. Together, we will learn flows, or sequences of yoga poses. In the video, you’ll see an example of an advanced Aerial Yoga flow. Of course, I adapt the level of difficulty individually at the retreat to match your experience.
