Maya Womb Medicine

Join an immersive 2-day experiential workshop dedicated to the wisdom of Maya women’s healing traditions, with a special focus on nourishing and strengthening the womb. This hands-on weekend offers an authentic introduction to manual techniques passed down by traditional Maya healers, along with practices you can continue at home for daily self-care.

The program includes a healing yoni steam ritual, traditionally known as Bajo, the use of herbs for abdominal wraps, the application of Faja and Rebozo, and the gentle abdominal massage tradition of Doña Dominga. Together, these methods support a deeper connection to the womb and invite a more conscious relationship with the body.

Included in the course:

You will receive a digital handbook (PDF), a traditional cacao drink, a small massage oil, and herbal tea on site.

A contribution of 5 EUR per participant goes directly to the association Motz´ Maya. In close cooperation with the Guatemalan sister organization Asindi Rex We, this initiative equips traditional midwives’ backpacks with basic medical supplies, helping midwives in Guatemala continue their important work.
