This residential training takes place on Portugal’s Atlantic coast, offering a peaceful setting for deep immersion. Why train in Portugal?
The program is led with the same curriculum and traditional approach found in the school’s other locations. The surroundings may be different, but the depth of the teaching remains unchanged. Small groups allow for personalised daily feedback and a more supportive learning experience.
Eligibility criteria
Before joining the 200-hour training in Portugal, participants must meet the following requirements:
No prior teaching experience is necessary, although 6–12 months of yoga practice is recommended to help build a solid foundation.
Certification and costs
This 200-hour yoga teacher training meets Yoga Alliance standards, and graduates may register as RYT 200 teachers. Additional costs may include travel expenses, travel insurance, and personal spending for souvenirs or optional activities during the stay.
Location & access
The training takes place on the Atlantic coast in Portugal, one of Europe’s most naturally beautiful and affordable destinations for residential study. Direct flights from across Europe make travel straightforward. The main airport is Lisbon Humberto Delgado (LIS), served by TAP, Ryanair, EasyJet, Lufthansa, and British Airways. Porto (OPO) is an alternative entry point for northern locations.
