Self-realization, to me, is the moment you see how mistaken you have been and recognize that everything was already within you all along.
Hello, I’m Ming, a 500-hour trained yoga teacher. Before stepping onto the yoga path, I spent three years working as a crisis counselor, and later became a full-time mother. Living in a country without family support, I often felt isolated and exhausted. During that demanding chapter, I found yoga and began exploring asanas and meditation.
At first, becoming a yoga teacher was never part of my plan. After moving to Bali, I had no intention of joining a yoga course until I heard that Anandam Yoga School was offering its first teacher training there. It felt like destiny to become a student. I completed both the 200-hour and 300-hour YTT programs in Bali with them, and was deeply honored to later join the teaching team.
Yoga has brought me tremendous joy and many benefits. It has helped me become calmer, more mindful of my actions, and more reflective about my reactions.
After finishing my 500-hour teacher training, I began teaching and discovered a true passion for sharing what I had learned, both in the classroom and beyond it. I value every moment on the mat and love passing that joy on to my students.
