Monika’s journey into yoga was anything but straight, and that is exactly what gives her teaching such a steady, grounded quality. After many years in the corporate environment at IBM, she chose ashram life over office life. She then devoted more than a decade to intensive study and training at Bihar School of Yoga. This blend of real-world experience and traditional discipline informs every class she leads. When she guides students through pranayama or helps refine a posture, her attention to detail reflects years of committed practice. She does more than present techniques; she explains their purpose. Her teaching is shaped by a deep understanding of yoga anatomy and the classical Hatha tradition.
