The Yoga Nidra and Hatha Yoga classes alternate every Friday.
Yoga Nidra, often referred to as “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practiced while lying down. With gentle verbal guidance, you are led into deep relaxation—between waking and sleeping—where the body stays still and the mind remains quietly aware. Each session is designed to ease physical tension, calm the nervous system, and soften mental chatter. No prior experience or flexibility is needed.
We provide a yoga mat and yoga blanket; you are welcome to bring your own blanket, pillow, or bolster.
Benefits may include less stress and anxiety, better sleep, greater mental clarity, and a deep feeling of restoration. One hour of Yoga Nidra is said to be equivalent to several hours of regular sleep.
Hatha Yoga: A foundational, slower-paced style of yoga, Hatha focuses on bringing body and mind into balance through physical poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. It is generally gentler and more measured than Vinyasa Flow or Power Flow yoga, making it a great choice for beginners or anyone seeking a mindful, less intense practice.
Benefits may include increased flexibility, greater strength, improved posture, and reduced stress.
