Set in the beautiful mountains of Lago d'Orta in Italy, the retreat combines nourishing food, inspiring surroundings, and elegant architecture and design. Yin Yoga β Holding postures for five minutes allows you to work deeply into the muscle tissue. This helps release stored toxins, emotional patterns, and thoughts, creating deep relaxation and supporting physical and emotional balance.
Being Surrounded By Water β The retreat is set among lakes, and water is associated with JOY in Chinese medicine. In this tradition, water also helps move emotions and metabolic waste through the body. Since the body draws water from the bones, muscles, and brain when it needs more liquid to flush out toxins, drinking and swimming in clean natural water can support both your physical and emotional process.
Walking meditation β Time spent walking mindfully outdoors brings you into contact with the negative ionic charge found in nature. This can help shift difficult emotions and bring greater clarity. The breathtaking landscape surrounding the retreat adds support to your inner process and offers a welcome sense of relief.
Food β During the retreat, you will enjoy inspired medicinal food designed to help your system relax and detox. The menu excludes meat, dairy, bread, sugar, and coffee, and all products are organic. Detoxing is not the same as fasting. Meals are served buffet-style, with plenty of food available if you need extra energy.
Sleeping more than 8 hours β Throughout your stay, you are encouraged to treat yourself with care and rest. When complex emotions begin to build, sleep can offer an important reset for the emotional body. Getting enough sleep during the retreat is essential.
