




Ariya B. Baumann, formerly known as Ven. Ariya Nani, brings more than two decades of monastic experience to this retreat. Ordained in Burma by Sayadaw U Janaka, she spent many years supporting foreign meditators at the Chanmyay Myaing Meditation Center before settling in Switzerland, where she now teaches mettā and vipassanā retreats internationally.
This month-long retreat follows the eight precepts, which means no meals are taken after midday, creating a simple and focused environment for practice. It is designed to welcome both complete beginners and more experienced meditators, offering a supportive setting to deepen mindfulness, concentration, and insight over an extended period.
Participants should arrive on Friday after 4 p.m., with the retreat beginning at 7 p.m. The program concludes on Saturday, 1 September, with lunch.
