Usually held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 11am to 1pm, this gathering offers a welcoming space for IMC seniors of all ages to come together in community. Inspired by Suzuki Roshi’s playful response to the question, “Why do you practice?” — “To enjoy my old age” — the session invites participants to explore aging with warmth, wisdom, and a spirit of ease.
Through guided meditation, thoughtful talks, and open discussion, attendees are encouraged to reflect on both the challenges and blessings that come with growing older. The focus is on cultivating kindness, contentment, and practical wisdom for the journey ahead. Everyone is welcome to join this dharma-based community and share in a supportive environment that honors aging as a meaningful part of life.
