More than learning how to demonstrate postures, this training is about becoming a teacher who supports others with compassion and clarity on their path toward a better life.
This program brings together our 200-hour multi-style Yoga teacher training, covering Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow, and Vinyasa Flow, with our advanced 300-hour Yoga teacher training focused on Ashtanga Vinyasa and arm balancing.
Throughout the course, you will explore more than 150 asanas, including alignment, variations, and modifications. You will also study balanced class design and peak pose sequencing, along with hands-on adjustments and a daily teaching practicum.
The curriculum includes yoga philosophy, from the origins and history of Yoga to the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and the different paths of Yoga. You will also cover Hatha Yoga scriptures, yoga anatomy and physiology, injury awareness, Sanskrit terminology, pranayama and meditation techniques, mudras and mantras, Ayurveda and yogic diet, cultural appropriation, the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series, arm balancing, Sukshma Vyayama, and chakras with chakra meditation.
