
Born into a family with deep knowledge of Sanskrit and ancient scriptures, Yogi Kamal Ji was introduced to the study of Vedic and other classical texts from an early age as part of his yogic education. His academic journey in yoga is equally notable. In 2006, he completed a two-year naturopathy training course at the National Institute of Naturopathy, under the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. He earned a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) from Barkatullah University, Bhopal in 2007, and later received a Master of Science in Yoga from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar in 2010.
In 2002, Kamal took part in the All India Inter-University Yogasana Championship held at North Gujarat University, Patan. In 2008, he co-founded the International Free Music and Yoga Festival, which continued until 2014. He is a professional teacher of traditional hatha yoga and shatkarma. His compassion for all living beings, along with his constant joy and dedicated daily yoga practice, make him a truly unique yogi.
