With a lifelong relationship to yoga that began in early childhood, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli has been teaching since 1994 and has built a respected international reputation for her therapeutic and research-informed approach. Her work is grounded in yoga therapy, with a strong emphasis on women’s health and the restorative power of Yoga Nidra. She is especially known for helping people discover how yoga can support deep rest, resilience, and renewed vitality through the changing phases of life.

Uma is widely recognised as a pioneering voice in Yoga Nidra and is the author of the influential books Yoni Shakti and Nidra Shakti. Drawing on decades of practice, clinical experience, and study, her teaching is informed by yoga tantra while remaining relevant to contemporary needs. Through her trainings, teaching, and therapeutic work, she offers a thoughtful and deeply supportive perspective on how yoga can nurture healing and well-being.
