Born and raised in southern Israel, Shir first came to yoga at Samahita in 2018, where her practice began to take root. After spending 2.5 years working at a digital marketing agency, she made a bold change in 2023 and left her job behind. In 2024, she returned to complete her 200hr YTT and has been here ever since.
Following her training, Shir continued with the 4-week apprenticeship program and the 100hr advanced training and work-study program. These experiences helped her grow into her voice as a teacher, and she soon began teaching full time at Samahita. Alongside guiding students on the mat, she also brings her digital marketing background into the retreat environment by supporting the social media campaigns.
