
M. E. Kannan Ji brings extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and proudly comes from Tamil Nadu in South India. For the past 8 years, he has practiced and taught acupuncture, Varma/Marma therapy, and ayurveda, learning these methods from traditional practitioners in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. He teaches Anatomy and Physiology in a way that blends modern anatomy with yogic principles, supporting a more independent and healthy way of living. He is also skilled in the classical Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu, an ancient and dynamic form closely associated with yoga and widely known in Kerala, India. Through both theory and practice, Kannan Ji has studied the traditional art of Marma points as well as acupuncture and acupressure under several respected gurus from South India. As a traditional healer, he can also work with specific concerns such as nervous system disorders, circulatory and reproductive issues, asthma, stress-related conditions, headaches, back pain, spinal problems, joint concerns, and more.
