
Guru Buddhi Prakash Ji was born in 1953 and holds a master’s degree in Hindi literature and yoga philosophy. His first experience of samadhi came at the age of seven, when he also had a clear vision of a past life in the Himalayas. He completed his higher education at Agra University and Haridwar University.
He was initiated into the Shankaracharya tradition through his teacher, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and spent many years with his guru practicing Transcendental Meditation. In order to deepen his practice, he lived for several years in a cave in the Uttarkashi Himalayas. He has taught yoga in many countries and now serves as a guest teacher at Om Shanti Om Yoga Ashram.
With 40 years of teaching experience, he guides spiritual seekers in different levels of meditation practice and Indian philosophy. His knowledge includes Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Shiv Sutras, and more. He has also led numerous yoga workshops in Rishikesh and other parts of India. In 2015, he received the Yash Bharti Award from the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
