Emily Ballentine has been part of the Namchak community since 2018, bringing both dedication and a deep personal commitment to the path. Over the years, she has contributed in meaningful ways, including serving on the Community Advisory Board and helping develop the Compassion in Action® Network and Fellows Program. In her current role as Community Engagement and Programming Specialist, she supports students across all Namchak offerings and helps foster a welcoming, connected sangha.
Before joining Namchak in this capacity, Emily worked as a research coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania, where she supported clinical research focused on anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Her interest in mental health inspired her academic path at Temple University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Today, Emily continues to bring warmth, insight, and enthusiasm to her practice, with a strong interest in deepening Vajrayana wisdom and living in community.
