My intention is to offer a safe and supportive space where you can reconnect with your inner being. Through the breath, presence, and self-awareness, I invite you to return to yourself more fully.
Over the years, I have shaped a yoga practice through the guidance of many teachers and masters, as well as through my own lived experience. For me, yoga is a way of life and a path toward the Self. I hope to inspire and support you in discovering this Self in all its dimensions, so you can live your true nature and full potential without compromise, every day.
This understanding came through a long and at times challenging journey that took me across different countries, inner landscapes, old habits, and painful experiences. My teachings are rooted in the spiritual foundations of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother from India, as well as Rudolf Steiner and Eckhart Tolle from Germany. I also draw from the movement and asana traditions of Anusara Yoga, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga Yoga. In addition, Yin Yoga has been a deeply healing practice for me through TJ Maher from New York, and I was inspired by Elea Gisele from France to integrate Yin and Yang as one holistic path.
Although I experienced Vipassana for children at the age of 7, I did not truly understand it at the time. My own meditation practice began more consciously at 24 in Brazil. After many pauses and struggles, I found a new opening through Kryia Yoga with Swami Atmananda from India, which helped me return to a regular meditation practice. Today, I teach meditation and mindfulness as the foundation for a meaningful yoga practice and a conscious life. Later, I also completed another Vipassana retreat with 10 days of silence, which opened new inner worlds for me, and for that I am deeply grateful.
I aim to meet you as a teacher on equal ground, just as I was taught by my own teachers. I am grateful to Sophia Wahdat, Christina Lobe, Sudhir Rishi, Swami Atmananda, Joanna Vladescu, Alan Ellman, TJ Maher, Octavio Salvado, Elea Gisele, and especially my partner Athina Tamaresi, who teaches me yoga every day beyond the mat.
In my work, you will learn that the body reflects our inner being, and that movement, stretching, strengthening, and concentration can be deeply powerful and healing.
You will also explore how we are more than the physical body: what prana, or life force, is, how to awaken it, and how to use it in supportive ways. I want to guide students into the experience of being multi-layered beings, made up of body, emotions, mind, and soul, and into how yoga can help bring these aspects into healthy balance.
My passion lies in meditation and yogic philosophy, combined with modern approaches to honest communication. I founded the yoga school and retreat center INEA YOGA on Corfu, Greece. I teach regular classes, workshops, yoga teacher trainings, and yoga retreats, in both German and English.
As a teacher, I do not aim to convince you of anything. Instead, I create a safe space and offer ideas, tools, and movement so you can discover and experience your own Self. My background also includes many years of martial arts practice, including Ju-Jutsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Capoeira, and Kickboxing.
I see myself as an explorer of consciousness. Through my work in yoga, I create a physical and mental space where students can explore their own inner path with support, inspiration, and embodied practice.
