About Me

I am a passionate, life-loving Greek, raised in Athens and later based for many years in Milan, Italy, and Brighton, UK. My academic path includes a degree in music harmony, a singing diploma, a university master’s in Musicology, and an MSc in Psychology. Music has always been one of my clearest ways of expressing the light within me. Alongside that, a deep wish — perhaps even a need — to understand the self and give voice to that connection led me into psychotherapy, yoga, communication workshops, operatic singing, pottery, theatre, more music, and many meaningful heart connections.

Long hours spent indoors, especially during my studies, made movement essential for me. That need eventually brought me to my first 200-hour yoga teacher training in South Goa, India, with Sampoorna Yoga. Since then, I have continued to study with world-leading teachers, and I remain deeply grateful to every one of them. I began my yoga journey with K. Andlaw, S. Strandh and H. Schmidt, EJ Brumfield, TJ Maher, Sudhir Rishi, and Octavio Salvado. Later, I found Ellen Arthur, Rod Stryker, Rupert Spira, and Shari Friedrichsen, who remains my favorite to this day. I feel humbled to be part of the rich wisdom and living community of the Himalayan Institute and the Himalayan Masters. At present, I study through HI with Shari, Sandy, Judy, Ishan, and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, and with the lineage they so vividly carry from Swami Rama and the Himalayan masters.

Sharing has always come naturally to me, but what matters most is helping people use the tools already available in their own bodies to love and connect with their unique selves. For me, yoga has been a beautiful journey of separating my sense of self from my often busy mind, and of learning to truly accept and connect with myself as a whole. Whether through postures, meditation, or the mindful choices we make in daily life, yoga is an inner experience that can open the door to the radical self available through anything — truly, anything.

I teach to encourage others to connect with themselves, and I practice to keep remembering that when I commit to this life with a steady gaze on the destination, calm breath, and a clear mind, everything becomes possible. To serve the world sincerely, we must first meet our own inner demons and move beyond whatever keeps us from blooming. Then, like a flower, we can offer something effortless and enriching to everyone who enters our field.
