Alison is a body-centered holistic coach, transformational group facilitator, mentor, teacher, emotional doula, guide, and advocate with nearly 30 years of study and experience in somatic healing arts and therapy, yoga and meditation, authentic embodiment, and holistic healing.
Through her long-standing training and lived practice, she helps clients and students connect with their inner resources and release limiting patterns so they can access their truth, power, and a deeper body, mind, heart, and soul connection.
Alison is deeply committed to supporting women as they regulate their nervous systems, release outdated stories and messages, make peace with their bodies, and remember who they truly are. Having survived several highly traumatic life events, including a near-death experience and a house fire, she also understands the realities of divorce and single parenthood, and has relied on these practices during times of stress and challenge.
Through embodiment practices, deep self-inquiry, and the exploration of a wide range of natural health and wellness modalities, Alison has also healed from a debilitating eating disorder and has been in active recovery for 25 years, giving her a grounded and sustainable perspective on addiction recovery.
Alison is known for her empathic presence and steadfast compassionate acceptance. As a transformational retreat leader, she brings authenticity, depth, and a trusted ability to hold space for women to soften, release tension, reconnect with their bodies, honor their true voices, stand confidently in who they are, and remember their intrinsic power.
She is devoted to supporting women on their path toward wholeness.
Alison carries an embodied understanding of the body’s wisdom and intelligence, and she brings to her sessions a deep intimacy with her own lived experience. Her appreciation for the magic of everyday life informs her view of living as medicine for growth and healing.
She believes in each person’s capacity for wellness and in the power of being reminded of one’s innate goodness. Her devoted practice and commitment to healing from the inside out have shaped her ability to create a safe, welcoming space where clients and students can unfold, remember, and embrace who they truly are.
She leads women’s wellness retreats and groups, works one-on-one with clients, blogs, offers women’s retreats and events, and facilitates women’s circles both virtually and in person. She is also the author of a book set to be released in 2025, and she shares her stories and wisdom with passion to empower the collective.
She lives in beautiful Boulder, Colorado with her teenage son and partner. You can often find her wandering in the mountains, on her yoga mat, dancing to live music, or cooking amazing food.
