Drop in for $10, with no reservation required, and pay by cash, PayPal, or Venmo. Mats and props are available if needed, so you can arrive comfortably and simply step into your practice.
With more than 25 years of personal practice and over 15 years of professional teaching experience, Marika leads each session with warmth, intuition, and care. Her teaching blends yoga asanas, pranayama, and mindful awareness to support strength, flexibility, and inner harmony. The result is a practice that feels both energizing and calming, helping students leave class feeling centered, strong, and at ease.
Hatha yoga is rooted in balance. In Sanskrit, “Hatha” joins “Ha,” meaning sun, and “Tha,” meaning moon, reflecting the meeting of opposites: effort and ease, strength and softness, activity and rest. This class invites you to explore that balance on the mat and carry it into your daily life.
Marika’s compassionate approach is enriched by certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yin-Yang, and Restorative Yoga through Yoga Alliance. She also weaves in subtle energy work, Hawaiian healing arts, and Reiki, creating a holistic experience that feels heart-centered and deeply supportive.
Set within the serene Grow Room, surrounded by lush tropical nature in Hawai‘i Island’s Puna district, the class offers a peaceful environment for practice. Whether you are new to yoga or have years of experience, you are welcome to join and move at your own pace.
