What to expect
An unhurried evening designed for arriving, not achieving, taking place during one of the darkest weeks of the year. Pippa begins with gentle, accessible movement to help the body soften after the day, before guiding the restorative postures that follow. As you settle into each shape, she and Anthony offer shiatsu massage, using thumb, finger, and palm pressure along the body’s meridian lines to help release what the muscles are holding. From there, Pippa leads a brief guided meditation and yoga nidra, followed by journalling so everything can land before you return to the cold outside. Tea and chocolate are included along the way. There is nothing to perfect and nowhere to hurry.
Your Instructor
Pippa Moss is a yoga teacher and somatic practitioner working between Portugal and Cambridge. Her teaching is informed by non dual tantra and years of returning, again and again, to what the body already knows. Through her classes and retreats, she creates space for rest without any pressure to fix or improve yourself.
Anthony Heilmann is a shiatsu massage therapist and reiki practitioner who joins Pippa to support this restorative session. His work is also shaped by years of martial arts, including a black belt in kung fu, bringing a precise rather than forceful approach to the body. He is deeply curious about how bodies hold and let go of what they carry, and that compassion is reflected in the way he works. Anthony is Pippa’s partner.
