This weekend in-person retreat is designed to support rest, renewal, and a deeper sense of self-awareness. It invites participants to explore how mindfulness, compassion, and resilience can become more present in daily life, while also creating space to meet challenges with greater ease and understanding. Whether you are completely new to meditation or hoping to refresh an existing practice, you will find time for solo reflection, personal practice, and meaningful community connection.
During the retreat, participants will be introduced to foundational Buddhist meditation practices, including Loving Kindness (Metta), Compassion (Tonglen), Calm Abiding (Shamata), and relational practices known as Sangha Skills. Learning unfolds in the warmth and support of a like-minded group, creating an immersive setting that encourages focus and presence. Because this retreat is offered only in person, recordings will not be available, allowing the experience to remain fully rooted in the integrity of the live gathering.
This retreat is a welcoming space for anyone interested in beginning a meditation practice or deepening one that is already established. It is also well suited to experienced meditators who wish to strengthen their practice and embody more Loving Kindness, compassion, and ease in everyday life.
For those new to Namchak, the retreat offers a valuable opportunity to connect with the Namchak Sangha and experience the supportive atmosphere of community practice. Since the program is held in person, it is especially relevant for those living in or near the Hot Springs, Montana area who would like to engage more deeply with meditation and community connection.
The retreat uses a tiered pricing structure to help make participation more financially accessible. Guests are encouraged to choose the level that best fits their circumstances. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Financial assistance may be available for those who need support in attending this offering.
The in-person ticket price also includes a shuttle from Missoula Airport (MSO) to Bodhi House at Namchak Retreat Ranch in Hot Springs, Montana, as well as meals and lodging.
