It is a conscious system of movement designed to strengthen the deep muscles, develop flexibility, stability and posture of the body.Improving proprioception is our body's ability to feel our body in space. PROPRIOCEPTION is a mechanism in the nervous system that provides information about the position, speed, direction and muscle tension of body parts. Thanks to proprioception, a person can maintain balance, coordinate movements accurately, avoid injuries and perform movements more efficiently.
Why is it valuable to combine physiotherapy and proprioception in Pilates?
Pilates improves posture, strengthens the deep musculature and is particularly useful for sedentary people and people with low mobility.
Kinesitherapy is for people with pain, restricted movement, muscle imbalances and health problems.
PROPRIOCEPTION develops balance, coordination and precision of movements in space.
