These are not gentle times. The world can feel forceful, fast-moving, and overwhelming, and many of us are carrying more than we can easily hold. Rage, fear, grief, and urgency — energies that do not readily soften or settle — can leave hope feeling stretched thin.
This workshop invites you to move with what is large, unruly, and fully alive. Rather than shutting down, pushing through, or collapsing beneath intensity, we will explore how to meet it and channel it through the body with guidance and care.
We will align with magnitude — the scale and force of lived experience. We will dance with mayhem — disruption, chaos, and the loss of control. We will open to monstrosity — the hidden, inconvenient, feral, or frightening parts of ourselves that can also feel deeply enlivening.
Through guided movement, music, and art-making, we will practice transforming big energies into motion and form, so intensity can become expressive and creative instead of overwhelming or destructive.
The space is clearly facilitated and well-contained, grounded in choice, gradation, and consent. All movement is invitational and adaptable. You decide how close to go, what pace to take, and how much to share, and in what form. Time will also be set aside for grounding and integration.
Expect uncertainty, transformation, and good company.
