Set in a stunning Rocky Mountain valley, this retreat creates a unique space where Buddhism and AI can meet in a meaningful way. It brings together traditional meditation, neuroscience, contemplation, collective intelligence, nature immersion, and sensory experiences for a thoughtful exploration of human flourishing through intellect, heart, and embodiment.
Somewhere between a vipassana retreat and a jhana retreat, this experience opens a fresh direction while staying grounded in depth and discipline. Silence will be used as a practice, and most of the time will be spent in meditation, surrounded by the raw beauty of the Rocky Mountains in a supportive and carefully held retreat environment.
At the same time, this is not a fully silent retreat. Because dialogue, collective intelligence, and human connection are central to the experience, the program includes one-to-one coaching, small group discussions, guided nature walks, and fire circles. These elements create a balanced rhythm of stillness and expression, inner practice and shared connection.
Many of the practices are designed to support joy, a genuine zest for life, and the unfolding of latent cognitive capacities while helping soothe stressed nervous systems. Yet this is not about chasing bliss or choosing feeling good over insight. Instead, it follows a middle way that honors the rigor of scientific inquiry, the depth of ancient contemplative traditions, and the wisdom of nature, each in its full integrity.
This retreat is designed for people working in and around AI and tech, including developers, business professionals, researchers, policymakers, consultants, thought leaders, educators, and others in related fields.
Experience the restorative benefits of silence and digital detox in a nourishing natural setting. Far from the noise and pace of civilization, you can spend time among mountains and birdsong, gaze at clear night skies, breathe fresh mountain air, or enjoy tea in the morning sun.
Qualified professional coaches will offer one-to-one support to help you make the most of the retreat, identify the practices and techniques that suit you best, and bring the benefits home into daily life and work. You will receive 1-2 sessions during the retreat, along with one preparation session before and one integration session afterward, all tailored to your needs.
Begin or deepen your meditation practice with expert facilitators who bring thousands of hours of personal practice and teaching experience. As this is primarily a meditation retreat, you can expect 6-8 hours of practice each day, including shamatha, vipassana, compassion, walking meditation, and optional yoga and movement practices.
Dharma teachings and small discussion groups will explore the intersection of Buddhist philosophy, contemplative practice, AI, neuroscience, and the science of human flourishing.
You will also develop the Flourishing Intelligences needed to navigate both the challenges and opportunities of an AI-driven world.
