Spend a restorative half-day in quiet practice with a simple, balanced rhythm of sitting, walking, reflection, and community. The morning begins with seated meditation from 9:30 to 10:15 am, followed by a walking practice from 10:15 to 11:00 am to help bring mindfulness into movement. A second sitting session from 11:00 to 11:45 am deepens the stillness before a short dharmette, or brief talk, from 11:45 am to 12:00 pm.
The retreat also includes a short temple cleaning period from 12:00 to 12:15 pm, offering a chance to practice care and presence through service. At 12:15 pm, participants are invited to stay for an informal lunch gathering; please bring a bag lunch. This intimate retreat offers a gentle container for practice, connection, and a calm pause in the middle of the day.
