FSC Forest Management Expert Course – 16 November, 13:00 – 16:00 EST

Step into the mindset of an FSC auditor — or prepare to become one yourself.

This intensive FSC Expert training is designed to give participants both the knowledge and perspective of an FSC auditor. By joining the ASI-accredited FSC FM course, you can meet the formal FSC Forest Management auditor training requirements while also gaining practical insight into the FSC FM system.

The FSC Expert Course is made up of two separate trainings: one for Forest Management (FM) certification and one for Chain of Custody (CoC) certification. This registration covers the FSC FM course, which includes an online module followed by three days of intensive classroom training focused on FSC standards and systems for Forest Management certification.

The course is delivered in English. Please make sure your language level allows you to fully take part in presentations, group exercises, discussions, and examinations. The standard classroom agenda and the online module agenda are available separately. Access to the online module is provided only to paid participants and takes approximately three days to complete.

Note: The exam will be held online and supervised after the training.

Conditions for successful completion of the course

• For participants who are not aiming to obtain auditor qualification, completion of the exam and online modules is optional. However, we strongly recommend completing the online part in advance, as it supports a better understanding of the content and improves the overall classroom learning experience.
• To successfully complete the course, participants must pass the final exam. In accordance with FSC requirements for Auditor Training Programmes, participants must also attend the full scheduled classroom and online module time and actively contribute to group work and discussions throughout the training.

Course fee and discount options

The fee for this three-day classroom FSC FM training course is 3,300 USD, excluding accommodation and VAT. The price includes tuition, training materials, and meals during the course, including coffee breaks and lunches.

Cancellation

Cancellation is free of charge up to two weeks before the course begins. After that, a cancellation fee of 25% of the standard course fee applies, unless otherwise specified.
