Begin with Surya Namaskar A & B to generate warmth, awaken the breath, and mobilize the spine in several directions.

Tina Pashumati James is a former mountaineer and marathoner who spent eight years working with Whistler ski patrol and bear protection initiatives. For 20 years, she helped build a yoga community at Loka Yoga, with a strong focus on Bhakti teachings. Deeply committed to supporting cancer survivors and mental health, she practices Ahimsa and advocates for plant-based living. An authorized Senior Ashtanga and Jivamukti teacher, Tina weaves eco-conscious values into her work, offering transformative programs in India and mentoring initiatives. She also officiates wedding ceremonies and supports environmental and animal rights causes.
