Day 1 to Day 4
The program does not follow a fixed detailed itinerary, as the content and teaching style depend largely on the instructor. Still, the retreat follows a general daily routine that gives you a clear sense of the flow of each day.
6 am to 7 am: Wake up
7 am to 8 am: Yoga class
8:30 am to 9:30 am: Breakfast
10 am: Spa treatment
2 pm: Lunch
5 pm: Yoga meditation session + Yoga philosophy
Your day begins at 6 am. Early rising is part of the retreat structure and helps keep the mind fresh and ready for the day ahead. After your morning routine, the yoga session begins.
Each day includes two yoga sessions: one in the morning and one in the evening, each lasting one hour. The yoga teacher will guide you through the required poses and asanas, adapting the practice to your level of experience and understanding. Depending on your background, you may be introduced to different styles of yoga.
Beyond the physical practice, you will also learn how to bring yoga principles into everyday life. Breathing techniques are included as well, offering practical tools you can rely on in challenging moments.
Yoga philosophy is an important part of the retreat’s lifestyle-focused approach. It supports both mental and physical development through a structured study of key ideas. During the retreat, the instructor will introduce the most essential teachings, drawing on the writings of Patanjali, the Vedas, and other religious texts.
For first-timers, these ideas may take time to fully absorb, but the learning unfolds gradually and becomes clearer as the retreat continues.
The spa component is a central part of the retreat and is based on Ayurvedic spa practices. Treatments may vary from day to day, or repeat depending on your body condition.
On the first day, the treatment consists of massage only. This session lasts about one hour or slightly longer. Different massage styles are available, and the therapist will select the one most suitable for your body and wellbeing. Using kneading, tapping, and long strokes, the therapist works gently to help release tension and stress.
On the second day, you will take part in a steam and massage session, though this may be adjusted according to your body type. This treatment lasts around 1.5 hours and is known for supporting circulation, cleansing the skin, and hydrating the body.
On the third day, you will experience Shirodhara, an Ayurvedic therapy in which liquid is gently poured over the forehead. The liquid may include oil, coconut water, or buttermilk. Shirodhara is traditionally used for concerns such as memory loss, insomnia, and hearing impairment, and you will also learn about its different forms during the treatment day.
On the fourth day, the spa facility will be provided based on your condition and preferences.
