After you complete the training and pass the final exam, you will receive Yoga Alliance International accreditation.
What style of yoga is taught?
This training follows a multi-style approach, bringing together Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Vinyasa Flow. The program places strong emphasis on inner awareness and precise alignment, offering a balanced and comprehensive understanding of yoga asana. You will also learn how to build your own sequences, while practicing from pre-designed sequences that support both learning and teaching. In addition, the curriculum includes subtle energy work, pranayama, and meditation. The focus is on honoring your personal path and drawing on inspiration to create meaningful experiences for others.
How much teaching practice is included?
The course is designed to be interactive and highly practical. You will have many opportunities to teach throughout the training, including two practical exams with feedback from both peers and tutors. This supportive format is intended to help you grow confidently into the role of a teacher.
Can I teach after finishing the course?
Yes. The program is created to support you in reaching your full potential, whether you are new to yoga or already have years of experience. We believe there is strong demand for well-trained yoga teachers, and this training is designed to help prepare you for that path.
Who joins this training?
Our 200-hour yoga teacher training is open to everyone, regardless of age, body type, or level of experience. We welcome anyone who feels curious and passionate about exploring yoga more deeply. Whether you are just beginning or have practiced for many years, the classes are structured to expand your understanding and take your practice further. Many graduates leave with a renewed sense of confidence and a fresh perspective on their own abilities.
What is your philosophy?
Our approach is honest, open, generous, non-invasive, and compassionate. We see yoga as a long and colorful journey through life, and our teachers bring their own insight and lived experience into every class. Different beliefs and viewpoints are respected, and trainees are encouraged to develop understanding, discover their own style, and build a practice that feels authentic.
Is the training in English?
Yes, all courses are currently offered only in English. An intermediate level of spoken and written English is important in order to follow the lessons and pass the final certification exam. If you are unsure about your English level, you are welcome to reach out for guidance.
What is the average group size?
Our shalas can host around 29 to 32 students per group. If more than one group is staying at the resort at the same time, each group practices in a different shala.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
We understand that mat preference is personal, so individual mats are not provided for every student. If you are unable to bring your own, a limited number of mats is available for use. We do not currently sell yoga mats at our schools.
Will there be time to explore the island?
Most students use the time after classes to rest and prepare for the following day. However, the training includes 2 days off that can be used to explore the island. These days may or may not fall on weekends.
Why are there different dates and locations?
All locations offer the same high-quality program with support from excellent teachers, while each setting has its own special atmosphere.

It is the largest location and offers more facilities, including a gym, multiple swimming pools, yoga shalas, and an additional restaurant on site. Laura Arango Eusse: The Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Melati is enriching in every sense. The teachers are incredibly experienced and passionate about what they do. Leading the training was Georgia with whom we practiced Hatha yoga and who's also a deeply knowledgeable yoga philosophy expert. Other great teachers were Mayank and Pratik masters of alignment, asana practice, and anatomy. Their teaching styles complemented each other perfectly. The curriculum was intensive yet rewarding. It included in-depth coverage of Hatha and Vinyasa styles, along with focus on anatomy, alignment, and adjustments. We also had lessons on the Yoga Sutras, Ayurveda, and even insights into how to build a sustainable yoga teaching business. Though intensive, the breaks and self-practice time allowed us to integrate what we were learning. The pace was demanding but not overwhelming. Accommodation The accommodation was cozy. The rooms were clean and spacious. They have beautiful shared spaces, including a nice yoga shala, areas to relax or chat with fellow students. The peaceful environment, along with the sounds of nature, made it a perfect place.
