This 100-hour Yoga Alliance–approved Vinyasa + Yin Yoga Teacher Training brings together intelligent Vinyasa sequencing, Yin methodology, functional movement, and nervous-system–aware teaching. Created to support both your personal practice and your development as a teacher, it helps you guide others with clarity, confidence, and embodied presence.
Throughout the training, you’ll explore the balance between effort and ease, learning how to hold space for both dynamic flow and deep stillness. More than a certification, this is an immersive introduction to sustainable, integrative yoga. You’ll build the practical skills and inner confidence to teach Vinyasa + Yin in a way that feels grounded, authentic, and adaptable.
The curriculum presents Vinyasa + Yin as complementary practices, combining intelligent sequencing, Yin Yoga principles, functional movement awareness, yoga philosophy, meditation, and nervous system regulation. It is designed to nurture strength, mobility, resilience, and balance while remaining accessible to a wide range of bodies and experience levels.
You’ll also explore energetic anatomy and yoga therapy foundations, giving you tools to adapt practices for different needs. By weaving together dynamic flow and restorative stillness, the training emphasizes conscious, skillful, and sustainable teaching.
This module approaches Vinyasa as a breath-led, intelligently sequenced flow that brings together movement, intention, and energetic awareness. You’ll learn to create creative yet sustainable sequences using wave-like transitions and thoughtful pacing, cultivating strength, fluidity, and presence. The focus is on responsiveness rather than fixed choreography.
Yin Yoga is explored as both a physical and energetic counterbalance to dynamic movement. You’ll study long-held, floor-based postures through the lenses of fascia, joints, and meridian theory, and learn how to guide students safely into stillness. This module highlights Yin as a powerful practice for nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and deep embodiment.
This module introduces Kundalini Yoga as a practical system for cultivating energy, awareness, and resilience. You’ll explore kriya, mantra, mudra, and breath as tools for supporting vitality and clarity, with an emphasis on integrating these practices into modern classes and everyday life.
Somatic Yoga shifts attention away from performing shapes and toward sensing internal experience. Through slow, mindful movement and neuromuscular re-education, you’ll learn how to support release, coordination, and embodied awareness. This strengthens your ability to teach with sensitivity, adaptability, and respect for the body’s innate intelligence.
Breathwork is presented as an essential tool for regulating energy, emotions, and mental states. You’ll learn functional breathing techniques, pranayama, and regulation-based practices that can be safely woven into both Vinyasa and Yin classes, supporting clarity, balance, and nervous system health.
This module introduces the foundations of Ayurveda as a practical framework for understanding constitution, balance, and lifestyle. You’ll explore the doshas, daily rhythms, and seasonal cycles, and learn how to apply this wisdom to yoga practice, sequencing, and self-care with a focus on sustainability.
Yoga Therapy foundations are shared through a modern, accessible lens, with an emphasis on adaptation, choice, and individual needs. You’ll explore common patterns of imbalance and learn how to modify practices to support mobility, recovery, and nervous system regulation, strengthening your confidence in inclusive teaching.
Meditation is taught as an embodied and approachable practice. You’ll work with breath awareness, mantra, and mindfulness while learning how these methods influence the mind and nervous system. The focus is on cultivating presence, self-regulation, and clarity on and off the mat.
Yoga Nidra is offered as a guided practice of deep rest and conscious relaxation. You’ll learn its structure, language, and intention, along with its effects on stress, sleep, and emotional restoration. This module supports you in confidently guiding others into profound states of rest and integration.
This module connects the chakra system, nadis, koshas, and subtle body awareness into a clear, practical framework. You’ll learn how energy moves through the body and how to design practices that support balance, vitality, and emotional intelligence.
Yoga Philosophy is explored as living, applicable wisdom. You’ll engage with key teachings from the Yoga Sutras and related texts, learning how to translate them into meaningful modern applications that bring depth, integrity, and context to your teaching and life.
I’m Jess Dezaux, a 500-hour E-RYT and founder of the Yogánica Embodied Flow Method—a multidisciplinary approach blending movement, breathwork, somatics, and energetic anatomy.
I believe yoga can change the way we move through life—how we feel in our bodies, how we relate to ourselves, and how we connect with others. It invites us to soften, to wake up, and to live with more meaning.
My intention is to guide students back to themselves—to the power, clarity, and creativity already within. When we feel grounded and inspired from the inside out, we naturally show up in ways that feel authentic and aligned.
