Sai Naresh, known warmly by friends and students as Naresh, is the founder and principal instructor of Lalitha Yoga Academy (LYA). Raised in Puttaparthi, a renowned spiritual destination and the birthplace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, he began his yoga career in 2016 as a meditation teacher. He later deepened his training through studies in Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa flow, and teacher training certification. Today, he teaches and practices multi-style yoga.
Naresh’s path of meditation and self-discovery began in Arunachala, the home of the great Sri Ramana Maharshi, where he felt inspired to follow yoga as a lifelong calling and become a teacher. He then joined Shivananda Ashram in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, and completed his Teacher Training Course in 2016. In 2017, he undertook Ashtanga TTC in Mysore, followed by TTC programs in Kerala and Thiruvananthapuram in 2018.
In 2018, he moved to the well-known beach town of Varkala to devote himself to teaching in various schools and resorts. As his reputation grew, Sai Naresh was invited to teach dozens of times in Russia, Germany, Italy, and Austria. These experiences further shaped his practice and expertise, ultimately leading him to open Lalitha Yoga Academy in 2023, with its own dedicated ashram and resort on Varkala North Cliff.
