Peter Kaaberbøl Kristensen is the founder of LagoCph, a yoga school in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the online yoga portal Yogidia.com. He is also an accomplished personal trainer and the creator of the X-Pand Me body stretching system. Alongside yoga, he practices meditation and bodywork, and for the past fifteen years he has devoted his life to training yoga teachers around the world.
Known for making complex yogic principles accessible, Peter helps trainees explore the body’s subtle energies with clarity and depth. By guiding students inward, he supports them in strengthening their yoga practice from the inside out. His intensive teacher training programs are designed to deepen personal practice while refining teaching techniques, so participants can share the body’s inner wisdom with their own students.
Peter began practicing yoga at the age of 18 and has studied with a wide range of classical Indian teachers, including Akhil Bhattacharya and massage master Rahul Bharti in Nepal. His practice has taken him extensively through India, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Japan, and the United States. His interest in bodywork and movement also led him to martial arts such as Aikido and Capoeira, as well as Thai yoga therapy and Acro yoga. He runs his teacher training programs in Denmark, Costa Rica, Italy, Guatemala, and Honduras, and lives in Copenhagen with his wife and two daughters.
