Jhon comes from the ancestral lineages of the Andes, rooted in the community of San Pedro de Kacha. The mountains surrounding Cusco and the Sacred Valley are his homeland, and his bond with both the land and its people remains deeply present in his heart. Raised within this living web of community, he grew up surrounded by traditions that have stayed with him since childhood. Later, he recognized powerful parallels with Taoist teachings, which expanded his understanding of the natural systems that connect us above, below, and throughout the universe. Through these principles, Jhon experienced a renewed sense of interconnectedness, and he continues to honor ancestral wisdom as a way to stay grounded in the beauty of life.
His calling to Ayahuasca and his first experience with the process confirmed a deep inner truth. In dialogue with Mother Ayahuasca, he felt called to share the wisdom he had received and to help others discover the sacred connections that bind us to spirit. Jhon began learning about ceremony preparation and integration while serving at an Integrative Medical Healing Clinic, where he developed a strong intention to support others through these profound experiences. Blending the values of his upbringing with respect for Andean and Amazonian traditions, and with a continued commitment to learning and growth, he receives and guides guests through their transformative process with the master plants. He is honored to support his brothers and sisters in the beautiful realms that open to those who feel the call.
Jhon and Janneke are the founders of Willkamayuspirit.
