Krista’s path into yoga began during the pandemic, when the practice first helped her stay active, centered, and steady through a period of uncertainty. What started as a practical support soon became a meaningful personal journey. While completing her master’s degree, she leaned on yoga as a way to ease stress and restore balance, and in time it offered much more than movement—it brought greater clarity, emotional strength, and a deeper sense of peace.
Alongside her university studies and her work as a teacher in a mainstream UK school, Krista completed a 200-hour Multi-Style Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Course with an online yoga school based in Rishikesh. Through this experience, she connected with the spiritual foundations of the practice and developed a lasting appreciation for both its discipline and its wider yogic tradition.
After qualifying, she spent two years teaching yoga to her students and at a local studio, where she helped foster a strong and supportive community. Her commitment was soon noticed, and she was invited to teach at a UK wellness festival. That opportunity encouraged her to continue her studies, leading her to Sampoorna Yoga in India, where she completed her 300-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in February 2024.
A passionate traveler with a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, Krista was drawn to India not only to advance her training, but also to connect more closely with yoga’s roots. After two months as a karma yogi at Sampoorna, she was invited to join the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training team. Today, as a contemporary Hatha Yoga teacher trainer, Krista brings warmth, authenticity, and heartfelt dedication to every class she leads.
Her intention is to honor yoga’s rich tradition while offering a supportive, inclusive, and uplifting space. By sharing the wisdom she gathered in India, she keeps the spirit of yoga alive and accessible to all.
