Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Hector J. Moreno brought his passion for movement and mindful practice to Costa Rica, where he joined the El Sabanero family in 2016. Since then, he has become a familiar presence in the morning rhythm of the retreat, guiding classes at 7:30am with a grounded and intuitive approach.
Hector adapts each session to the needs of the group, creating a supportive space that may include restorative movement, vinyasa flow, or slower, more conscious practices. His teaching style is responsive and welcoming, making it easy for guests to arrive fully in their bodies and begin the day with clarity and ease.
On Thursdays, he offers something especially special: a silent morning walk through the jungle. This quiet experience invites participants to slow down, listen deeply, and connect with the natural surroundings in a more reflective way.
