Greg Gurel

Greg Gurel MPCC-S RPC ACC has been part of the Haven community for many years, with a deep connection to the Anger, Boundaries and Safety program since 1994. He stepped into the role of leader in 2007 and continues to bring extensive experience, insight, and steadiness to his work. Based in Vancouver, Greg maintains a private counselling practice and has also contributed to the field through curriculum development and teaching counselling and coaching certification courses at a Vancouver college.

His approach integrates mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions through experiential learning, creating a grounded and engaging environment for growth. While his background is broad, Greg has spent recent years focusing on conflict and boundaries in relationships, as well as supervising and mentoring new counsellors and leading continuing education courses. His work reflects a long-standing commitment to supporting others with clarity, depth, and practical understanding.
