Erin Casperson serves as Lead Kripalu Faculty and directs the Kripalu School of Ayurveda. As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and an Ayurveda yoga teacher, she is passionate about bringing the timeless wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda into contemporary daily life. Warm, engaged, and deeply committed as both teacher and student, Erin has continued her Ayurveda studies at Kripalu and in India. What she values most in Ayurveda, yoga, and mindfulness is exploring how simple daily practices, sustained over time, can create profound inner transformation.
With a student’s curiosity for the planet and the wider universe, Erin spends as much time outdoors as she can—walking the path in her backyard, tending her garden, or exploring the woods of New England, including summiting all 48 of New Hampshire’s 4,000-foot mountains. She encourages others to cultivate awe and wonder for the natural world around us. When she is not immersed in Ayurveda or hiking with her dog and partner, she can often be found in the kitchen, reading, or seeking a sunny spot to stay warm.
