Step into the restorative power of quiet in one of our most beloved retreats. In a world filled with constant noise, distraction, and competing demands, this experience offers an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to what matters most: your inner life.
Kripalu faculty will guide you through silence with embodied meditation, mindful movement, journal explorations, and nature-based practices designed to support present-moment awareness. As the retreat unfolds, you’ll be encouraged to:
Come into stillness. Follow the rhythm of your breath. What might emerge when the world grows quiet?
NOTE: Silence is maintained throughout the retreat, including mealtimes, except during structured short lectures and Q&A sessions. Please note that the rest of the Kripalu campus will not be silent, so other guests may be speaking and communicating.
NOTE: Please bring outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather, as portions of the retreat take place outside. The land, air, and natural elements are part of the experience and a pathway to connection and presence.

I have been to three silent retreats and each time, I release more and embrace more heart, trust, compassion, and wisdom. The insights gained were profound and meaningful [and] the things I saw inside were both stunning and difficult. My path is forever altered after this retreat. For the first time in a long time, I now have the tools within me that I need.
