For more than twenty years, Arjuna has immersed himself in Eastern spiritual traditions across both Eastern and Western settings. His path began at nineteen, when he encountered Theravada Buddhism, Vipassana meditation, and Sivananda Yoga, and chose to leave home behind for good.
Growing up in East Berlin, he was deeply shaped by the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Adjusting to a rapidly changing reality as a young teenager helped him develop a strong sense of independence and made it clear that he would not settle for the status quo. Even then, he felt called toward something wider, freer, and more alive.
Driven by a fierce longing for freedom and a life beyond the conventional 9 to 5, and unable to reconcile his rebellious outlook with the expectations around him, he stepped away from a promising academic path and spent the next fifteen years traveling the world.
Much of that time unfolded in India, along with remarkable places such as Myanmar, Laos, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, and Israel. In these journeys, he discovered the freedom of nomadic life while devoting himself ever more deeply to self-inquiry and inner exploration.
Convinced that life holds far more than what he had been taught, he completed dozens of retreats in Buddhist, Yogic, Tantric, and Advaita (Non-Duality) traditions, including experiences in silence, solitude, and complete darkness.
Drawn to the Yogic vision of liberating mind and soul through the body, he spent years exploring Hatha/Kundalini Yoga in depth. For him, the body is a vehicle for realizing and resting in our true nature and limitless potential.
Arjuna sees spirituality and personal evolution as inseparable from everyday life, and he regards challenges and mistakes as openings for refinement and growth. He offers students a range of approaches adapted to the Western scientific worldview, while also drawing inspiration from poetry, devotional practices, and a rich collection of extraordinary travel stories.
His intention is to encourage brave, grounded awareness in every breath, for the benefit of all who are ready for more and feel called to explore the road less traveled.
