Green Peace Inn is an open and welcoming beachfront retreat centre surrounded by nature and a beautiful coastline. Cosy spaces throughout the property invite you to relax and unwind. The centre is located in Weligama Bay, on a quiet stretch of beach, while the town centre is just three minutes away by tuk-tuk.

Our beachfront retreat centre offers seven individually designed rooms inspired by the nomadic way of life. Natural materials, earthy tones, comfortable cushions, and carefully selected accessories create a warm and relaxed bohemian atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a fan, and a private bathroom. Rooms on the second floor offer beautiful ocean views. Guests can choose between a private room or a shared twin rooms.

Our vision is to create a place where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and remember what truly matters.

At Green Peace Inn, we believe that meaningful change often begins with a simple moment: a quiet breath, an honest conversation, a nourishing meal, a new perspective or the feeling of being truly seen.

Through meditation, yoga, breathwork, reflection, nourishing plant-based food and genuine human connection, we create experiences that support greater awareness, inner strength and clarity. Our intention is not to tell people how to live, but to offer a safe and caring environment in which they can listen more deeply to themselves.

We believe that the impact of a retreat reaches far beyond the days spent in Sri Lanka. When people return home with more awareness, compassion and courage, it can influence their relationships, families, communities and workplaces. One meaningful experience can create ripples that travel far beyond what we may ever see.

Our vision also includes the people who make Green Peace Inn possible. In 2026, our centre directly employs 11 team members, including eight full-time employees, whose income helps support at least eight children and around ten additional family members.

We want to provide fair and stable employment, support families, contribute to education and create meaningful opportunities within our local community. For us, the well-being of our guests cannot be separated from the well-being of our team and the place we share.

In the years ahead, we want Green Peace Inn to remain a warm and grounded home for personal growth, community and meaningful transformation. We hope to continue improving the centre, developing new retreat formats and making our knowledge and experiences accessible to more people around the world.
