From Student to Teacher
200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course
Meals and accommodation are included, along with the course and certification.
A transformative 25-day journey begins in the quiet gardens of Chiang Mai, where mornings unfold to birdsong, soft rain, and the gentle space to move at your own pace. Rather than rushing into the day, you are invited to settle into your breath, your body, and a steadier rhythm of living.
At Luminaria Yogashala, this training is designed as more than a certification. It is an immersive experience in practice, self-inquiry, and teaching from the heart. With a small group setting, your teachers know your name, follow your progress closely, and support you throughout the process. The atmosphere is personal, attentive, and deeply grounded.
This course is not only about learning to guide yoga classes. It is also about reconnecting with yourself and carrying that clarity into every class and every step that follows.
Stay where you practice. Accommodation options include private rooms, shared rooms, private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and rooms with shared bathrooms. The training space is dedicated to small groups, with a maximum of 13 participants, creating a more intimate and intentional experience.
The syllabus combines classical Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa with pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, adjustment, and teaching methodology. You will also explore Ayurveda, Shatkarma theory and practice, and the foundational texts and ethics of yoga, including ideas from the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita.
In addition, the program includes optional healing studies: Sound Healing, using instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, and Balinese Energy Healing, taught by a master of the craft.
On Saturdays, students join weekend excursions to places such as Mae Sa Waterfall, Doi Suthep, or the Old City and Nimmanhaemin areas. Sundays are reserved as rest days for self-study, relaxation, or independent city exploration.
The all-inclusive price covers 25 days / 24 nights, daily healthy meals, course materials, certificate of completion, merchandise, and weekend excursions. A 25% down payment is required to secure your room and training place.
Optional extra nights before or after the course are available at THB 1,000 per night, subject to availability.
