Tuesday: Tröllaskagi - yoga in the mountains of the trolls. In the late morning, we travel north to the Svarfaðadalur valley, one of the most beautiful in the region. From the ancient farm Skeið at the end of the valley, we hike through this peaceful landscape to a mountain lake. There you may rest or join another yoga session in a majestic natural setting. For the brave, a dip in the lake offers the ultimate Nordic challenge. Back at the farm, our hostess Myriam serves a delicious meal before we return to the yoga center for a restorative Yin Yoga class. Hiking time: 2 hours.

We then continue to Mývatn and explore its varied scenery through short walks at Skútustaðir, Dimmuborgir, the continental divide, Krafla, and Námaskarð. Dinner is served at a café overlooking Dimmuborgir and the lake, with local Arctic char or a vegetarian option. Later, we relax in the warm waters of the Nature Baths, the Blue Lagoon of the North, with views over the Mývatn area. Facing the midnight sun, we return home. Hikes: short walks of 10 to 20 minutes at each scenic stop.
Thursday: Yoga on an island in the middle of the fjord. We begin with an indoor yoga sequence in the morning. In the early afternoon, we travel along the west coast of Eyjafjörður and take the Sævar ferry to the island of Hrísey. A short walk brings us to a spectacular viewpoint, considered one of the most powerful places in Iceland and an ideal setting for rest and yoga. We continue along dramatic cliffs, taking in the rich birdlife, and return to the village for a warm pool with beautiful views. For those who wish, a Polar Bear plunge awaits. Dinner is enjoyed on Hrísey with the catch of the day or a tasty vegan meal. In the light of the midnight sun, the ferry takes us back to the mainland. Hike: 1.5 - 2 hours.
