Looking for a deeper sense of balance in everyday life? This retreat invites you to bring your yoga practice off the mat and into the rhythm of your day.
Explore how yoga can nurture a strong body, a calm mind, and an open heart. With practices designed to support presence, ease, and self-connection, you’ll discover tools you can carry home and use in real life. Set in the lush Costa Rican jungle, the experience is enriched by abundant nature, creating space for deeper practice and a more grounded connection to yourself.
This workshop explores the moon’s natural cycles and the ways its energy can gently influence emotions and intentions. You’ll learn about each phase, discover simple ways to live in greater alignment with these rhythms, and create an art piece to serve as a daily reminder of the moon’s cycle.
In this session, you’ll be introduced to Ayurveda, the ancient sister science of yoga and a holistic system for understanding the body, mind, and overall well-being. Learn the foundations of this timeless tradition, identify your unique dosha, and take home a few simple daily practices.
Discover why movement breaks matter for physical and energetic well-being, and how simple objects like chairs and tables can support your practice. This workshop offers practical poses and ideas you can use at home or in the workplace, helping yoga become a natural part of daily life wherever you are.
Go beyond the physical postures and into the heart of yogic philosophy. In this session, you’ll explore the yamas and niyamas and discuss how these guiding principles can be applied meaningfully both on and off the mat.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Emma is known for her joyful spirit and love of travel, dance, and human connection. She is devoted to learning, teaching, and following her heart, a path that led her to the Costa Rican jungle, where she completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and has lived for the past three years.
With 11 years as a yoga student and 3 years of teaching experience, Emma sees yoga as both a transformational tool and a way of life. Like a key carried in your pocket, it can unlock a life that feels more alive, grounded, and aligned with mind, body, and soul. She has taught Hatha, Vinyasa, and Children & Family Yoga, always supporting students with care as they deepen self-understanding and discover what brings more harmony to their lives.
Emma is honored to share yogic practices that encourage self-awareness, heart-centered living, and the transformative power of yoga on and beyond the mat.
Anne grew up in the rural farmlands of Illinois, later lived in the mountains of Colorado, and now calls Washington’s Columbia Valley home, where she lives with her husband and two cats.
With more than ten years of personal practice and four years of teaching experience, Anne’s path has been shaped by compassion, curiosity, and heart. Her 200-hour training was influenced by Baron Baptiste’s power vinyasa style, and her 300-hour certification through the School Yoga Institute, completed during a month of immersive study in Peru, deepened her connection to yoga philosophy and energetics.
She teaches vinyasa and yinyasa classes at local studios and owns Igniting Life Yoga, a travel-to-you yoga business offering customized experiences for corporate teams, family groups, and special events.
Anne teaches with authenticity, humility, and compassion. Her goal is to create a space where people can reconnect, heal, and grow mentally and physically. This retreat is part of that vision, and she is honored to share practical tools for bringing yoga into everyday life.
