Description

This 6-day training in Rishikesh is designed for yoga teachers, health professionals, and committed practitioners who want to explore yin yoga in depth and share its benefits with confidence.

Throughout the program, you will study yin yoga asanas, fascia and connective tissue, anatomy, meridians, pranayama, meditation, yin-yang philosophy, and teaching methodology.

The course supports you in guiding students toward deep surrender, enhancing mobility, and shaping a practice that brings balance to body, mind, and energy.

Whether your goal is to begin teaching yin yoga or strengthen your existing skills, this training combines ancient wisdom, modern science, and practical tools to help you create meaningful impact.

Why Yin Yoga?

  • Creates balance through stillness and slower movement
  • Supports joint health by working with deeper tissues
  • Encourages self-awareness through long, mindful holds
  • Offers introspective depth that complements dynamic yoga

What Is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a slow, reflective practice that works into the body’s deep connective tissues—fascia, ligaments, and joints—through long-held, passive postures, often supported by props.

Unlike more active styles of yoga, Yin emphasizes stillness, breath awareness, and inward attention.

It invites gradual release and spacious opening, allowing the body to soften without force.

Shaped by Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yoga also supports energy flow through the meridians, helping to restore physical and emotional balance.

About the TTC

  • Fascia-focused approach: Learn how Yin postures stimulate the myofascial web to support mobility, hydration, and tissue health.
  • Yin vs. Restorative clarity: Study intention, biomechanics, and energetic effects.
  • Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine: Explore meridian theory and targeted sequences.
  • Functional alignment: Understand joint range, skeletal variation, and the role of props.
  • Integrated breathwork: Use pranayama to cultivate stillness and subtle awareness.
  • Practice-led learning: Engage in structured sequences, meditation, and reflection.
